CY: Rwy wedi dechrau gwneud fideos ar TikTok y lle rwy'n gobeithio i esbonio camgymeriadau cyffredin am Astudiaethau Celtaidd a'r gwledydd Celtaidd. Rwy wedi gweld llawer o wybodaeth anghywir a phethau niweidiol yn cael eu rhannu ar yr app hwn am y maes Astudiaethau Celtaidd (ac wrth gwrs ar y we cyfan yn gyffredinol), a gobeithio bydda i'n gallu cyfrannu at addysgu pobl am y maes ac am y gwledydd Celtaidd. Bydda i'n lanlwytho fy fideos i'r gwefan hwn ar mwyn archifio, ac hefyd ar gyfer pobl sy ddim yn hoffi TikTok (hollol deg!), ac ar gyfer Americanwyr os bydd yr ap yn cael ei warghardd yno. Dydw i ddim yn hoffi TikTok mewn gwirionedd, a basai'n well gyda fi wneud postiadau ysgrifennedig yn lle fideos, ond mae fy nghynnwys TikTok wedi cael mwy o sylw na mae fe wedi derbyn ar blatfformiau eraill, felly siŵr o fod rwy'n gallu cysylltu â mwy o bobl yno.

EN: I've started making videos on TikTok, where I hope to explain some common misconceptions about Celtic Studies and the Celtic nations. I've seen a lot of misinformation and harmful things being spread on that app about the field (and of course on the wider internet in general), and I'm hoping I can contribute even a little bit to educating people about the field and the Celtic nations. I'll upload my videos to this website to for archiving purposes, and also for people who don't like TikTok (which is entirely fair), and for Americans if the app does get banned there. I don't really like TikTok and I'd prefer to make written posts instead of videos, but my content on TikTok so far has gotten more attention then it has on other platforms, so clearly I can reach more people there.
